Hire Urban Handyman
Thanks for you interest in hiring me for your projects. I created this page to help save us both some time so please read this page in it’s entirety.
I get a lot of quote requests due to my online presence which exposes me to a very large audience and a tonne of potential clients. This is great for all of us however I can’t be all things to all people.
Some handyman or handyman businesses may claim to do it all, “one call does it all.” I am just one person with a helper and there are some projects for which I am not qualified to do and others that I do not like or want to do. Rather than trying to please everyone I prefer to accept projects that I am qualified to do as well as projects that I like to do.
With this in mind you can be sure that when you hire me you are hiring someone qualified for the task at hand and that I will do a good job because the work is something I like to do.
Here is a short list I work that I do not do.
- Flooring, except interlocking plank vinyl and engineered wood plank flooring.
- Full service remodeling
- Custom woodworking
- Shower faucet repairs or replacement
- Overhead door repair
- Fence repair or installation

Electrical and plumbing work would be considered minor, meaning things located outside the wall starting with the shut off valves for example. Electrical work can include fixture and device installation however we do not run new electrical or replace/upgrade breakers.
Exteriors– Door weather strip installation/replacement, door sweeps and bottoms, security and storm door installation, gate repairs, exterior caulking, peep holes, lock sets, dead bolts, garage shelving, storage or organization installations.

Urban Handyman focuses on the installation, we provides skilled labor to get things done efficiently with quality in mind.
